Thriving Mind South Florida is hiring for an Administrative Assistant. An Administrative Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the Mental Health Re-Entry Pilot Program in managing their time and resources.  The Administrative Assistant will be able to answer incoming inquiries routing them to the right individual, provide direct support to staff, and perform secretarial and clerical duties as assigned.  The Administrative Assistant will work with the Care Coordinator, behavioral health professionals, network providers, stakeholders and consumers in the community. The Administrative Assistant provides needed administrative support that may include assisting in gathering and monitoring client data, organizing, coordinating and monitoring the requirements of the program, assisting with coordinating meetings and agency events, and other tasks as needed.  Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows programs, including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks is desired.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, and a minimum of one year of clerical work experience to include knowledge of office equipment. Some experience in the field of Behavioral Health (substance abuse or mental health) is preferred.  Ability to travel to various meetings for the agency.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with consumers, agency staff, stakeholders, and management.  Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
